Description :

This position is for a travel RN specializing in Rehabilitation and Med Surg.

The shift is from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00.

The unit has 42 beds with a staff of 80 nursing FTEs.

Day shift has a ratio of 1 charge nurse to 5-6 RNs, and night shift maintains the same patient ratios.

Typical procedures performed include IVs, foley catheter insertions, PVRs, bladder and bowel programs, EKGs, and blood glucose monitoring.

Candidates must have BLS certification and Med Surg skills.

Preferred candidates will hold a CRRN certification.

The ideal candidate is positive, energetic, reliable, enthusiastic, and possesses a can-do attitude.

Specific rehabilitation training and FIM certification are required upon hire.

This facility has a strong reputation, ranking in the top 20th percentile of the nation in quality outcomes as of the third quarter of 2018.

The unit boasts a 5 : 1 RN ratio, significantly lower than comparable rehabilitation facilities.
