Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) position requiring 2 years of recent IMC experience and advanced certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) within a hospital setting
  • Four patients per nurse (4 : 1 patient ratio)
  • Night shifts, working 3x12 hours from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00
  • Weekend requirement of at least 5 weekend days in a 6 week pay period
  • Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
  • Experience with Epic EMR is required
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
  • Role involves managing care for up to four patients simultaneously in an intermediate care setting
  • ICU or previous IMC experience is preferred
  • Only one time-off request may be accommodated
  • Modules and additional training are completed during orientation and annually
  • Must provide two professional references for consideration

  • Active MD or compact RN license (pending license accepted)
  • Minimum of 2 years recent IMC experience required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIH) certifications required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • No first-time travelers will be considered
