Position Summary

• Our client is seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst for a critical data modernization initiative with our client, Scholarship America. This project is focused on enhancing their data and analytics capabilities on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• The ideal candidate will act as the essential bridge between non-technical business stakeholders and the core technical data team. Your primary mission will be to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements for this data-centric project, ensuring the technical solution aligns perfectly with business goals.
• Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business users to understand and document requirements for data analysis, data migration, and BI / reporting.
• Translate business needs into clear, detailed technical artifacts, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and User Stories.
• Utilize strong SQL skills to perform data analysis, data profiling, and validation of data flows.
• Create and maintain detailed source-to-target data mapping documents and data dictionaries to guide the development team.
• Define requirements for BI reports and interactive dashboards, specifically for Power BI.
• Work within an Agile / Scrum environment, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria for the data and testing teams.
