Job description
A company is looking for a Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation for the CA Jurisdiction.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and process California Workers Compensation claims to determine benefits due
Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority
Communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
5+ years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Professional certification related to the line of business preferred
Experience handling California Workers Compensation claims is required
License for California Workers Compensation claims is highly preferred
