High volume allergy practice who is currently seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our Mt Clemens team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operations of our practice. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Check-in patients, verify their information, and update medical records accurately.
- Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and transfer calls to appropriate personnel.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient time management.
- Assist patients in completing necessary forms and understanding office policies.
- Collect patient co-pays, process payments accurately, and maintain proper documentation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient flow and use of resources
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in using computer systems and basic office software.Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multiple tasks simultaneously.Empathy, compassion, and professionalism in dealing with patients and their families.Ability to work well as part of a team.Reliability and punctuality in attendanceBenefits
