Job Title : Fire Alarm Journeyman

Job Summary :

The Fire Journeyman at Certified Fire will complete the installation, service and maintenance of fire alarm systems for customers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install low voltage panels, wiring and other devices
• Program FACP with applicable devices
• Test equipment after installation or repairs to ensure the system is working properly
• Provide customers with instruction on system operation and functionality
• Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure they are in good working order
• Ensure clear and timely communication with Journeyman, assigned crew and other team members.
• Completes work in accordance with NFPA and Company standards
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment by following safe practices; following all job site safety requirements and keeping security information confidential.
• Provide any PPE that is not issued by the company
• Accurately record all hours spent on jobs worked. This may include using a time clock to clock in and out for shifts, and / or tracking time spent on each job site.
