Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Chatsworth, California. In this contract to hire role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of payments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic high-tech engineering environment.

Responsibilities :

• Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding to appropriate accounts.
• Manage payment transactions through Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check runs.
• Reconcile discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders to maintain accurate records.
• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice-related queries and discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for all accounts payable activities.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations during payment processing.
• Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and clarifications.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
