Our Story We started out as a small operation in California. In May 1969, we acquired four hospitals, some additional care facilities and real estate for the future development of hospitals. Job Responsibilities

Performs Echocardiograms using a departmental protocol for obtaining images. Assists with TEE’s and stress testing, providing images that support the physician’s ability to diagnose patients appropriately. Identifies problems & implements appropriate interventions, including reporting critical values. Sets priorities for completion of studies based on acuity, patient preference and / or the coordination of care with nursing and other ancillary services. Provides EKG and Holter Services when Echo workload permits. Obtains EKGs that reflect appropriate lead placement, minimal artifact, and correct patient information. Set’s up and scans Holter Monitors, providing tracings that support the physician’s ability to diagnose patients appropriately.

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Job Summary

Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.

Qualifications

Required : Graduate of accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of clinical experience.

Experience

Required : 6 months in clinical setting. Preferred : 2 years. Certifications Required : Registry eligible and AHA BLS. Preferred : RDMS, RDCS, or RCS. #LI-NR1 Tenet complies with federal, state, and / or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
