Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse

Must-Have : Candidates must be willing to float between ICU and emergency room units

Description :

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill patients.

This position requires floating to other units as needed.

Nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 1 : 1 to 1 : 2.

The registered nurse will work with a diverse patient population and manage a variety of medical diagnoses.

Continuous monitoring of patients' conditions and vital signs is essential.

The use of electronic medical records is required.

The nurse will participate in bedside report at the beginning and end of shifts.

Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.

Holiday scheduling is based on a rotation with core staff members.

The unit operates with a structured environment that is conducive to teamwork and professional development.

This position offers self-scheduling, allowing nurses to manage their availability for extra shifts.

A supportive atmosphere will be provided with the availability of Nursing Assistants as needed.

All staff must adhere to the dress code of navy scrubs.

Effective communication skills and teamwork are essential for success in this role.
