Envestnet is seeking a Talent Development Director to join our Human Resources department. This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required at either our Berwyn, PA office location.

Job Summary :
The Talent Development Director is responsible for building and leading enterprise-wide talent strategies that strengthen Envestnet’s performance management, succession planning, and leadership development practices. This role partners closely with senior executives, HR Business Partners, and external development providers to ensure Envestnet has the framework, tools, and programs necessary to drive high performance, identify future leaders, and sustain long-term growth. The Talent Development Director will oversee the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of performance cycles, calibration processes, high-potential programs, and executive development initiatives.
Job Responsibilities :
Performance & Goal SettingLead the design and administration of annual and bi-annual performance review cycles.
Establish and evolve goal-setting frameworks that align employee objectives with enterprise priorities.Create tools, templates, and training to equip managers and employees to engage effectively in the performance process.Calibration & Career ProgressionPartner with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to ensure consistency in calibration sessions and ratings distribution.
Align performance outcomes with rewards, promotions, and career progression decisions.Monitor and refine promotion processes to ensure fairness, transparency, and alignment with talent strategy.Succession Planning & Talent VisibilityLead enterprise succession planning cycles with executive and senior leadership.
Maintain talent dashboards to provide visibility into high-potential talent, critical roles, and single points of failure.Deliver insights to executive stakeholders to inform leadership readiness and workforce planning.Leadership & High-Potential DevelopmentDesign and oversee high-potential programs and enterprise leadership development initiatives.
Partner with external coaches, universities, and learning partners to deliver senior leader and executive development experiences.Measure program effectiveness and continuously evolve offerings to meet future leadership needs.Strategic LeadershipServe as a trusted advisor to senior executives on performance, succession, and leadership development practices.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and Business Partners to ensure talent strategies are integrated into the broader HR agenda.Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required8+ years of experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, or HR with increasing responsibility.Proven expertise in performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.Strong track record of partnering with executives and influencing senior stakeholders.Exceptional program design, facilitation, and change management skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage talent data and dashboards for strategic insights.Experience managing external vendors, universities, or coaching partners.Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, even in matrixed environments.Preferred Qualifications :
Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or Business preferred.Envestnet :
