Your Mission

We are seeking a seasoned and deeply technical Senior Manager to lead our Security Engineering team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for protecting our infrastructure, products, and customer data through proactive engineering and automation. You will lead a team of talented security engineers, setting the technical vision and driving the execution of a security strategy that scales. Engine moves fast, and we need a security engineering function that keeps us on track. That means detecting and managing threats and risks across our entire stack and development lifecycle. You will build and own that high-performing security function. Partnered with our engineering teams, you will foster a culture where value is delivered quickly and also securely as a shared responsibility. Success in this role means proactively neutralizing threats and building a resilient, scalable, and highly automated security posture.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in hands-on security engineering, with a significant portion spent in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• 3+ years of direct people management experience leading and mentoring a high-performing team of security engineers.
• Proven track record of developing and executing a technical security roadmap, including threat modeling, security architecture review, and vulnerability management at scale.
• Experience leading major security incidents, from detection and containment to post-mortem analysis and remediation.
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior engineering leaders and drive security initiatives across multiple teams and departments.

Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience, expertise, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and / or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.

Base Pay Range

$185,000$230,000 USD
