Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Site Planner / Scheduler to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) supporting clients in Gary, IN. PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure world-class project delivery through the skills of our people, methodologies, governance, and systems. Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

The Senior Planner is responsible for providing comprehensive project planning support through the engineering, procurement, construction and testing / commissioning phases, using standard planning techniques.

Responsibilities :

Establishing, monitoring and updating multiple project plans / schedules by :

• Developing detailed project schedules using standard coding and work breakdown structures
• Understanding project scope and identifying tasks / activities
• Sequencing work packages / activities and developing network models
• Estimating activities duration
• Developing schedule development plans and basis of schedule
• Establishing critical path and total project duration
• Preparing Level 1, 2 and 3 project schedules by summarizing the detailed work schedules
• Performing schedule control by analyzing critical path, planned value, earned value, schedule variance, schedule performance indices and schedule risk analysis, and recommending corrective actions
• Updating project schedules to reflect progress against project baseline and preparing management reports
• Participate in the change management process with raising schedule deviations and schedule impacts to project changes

Must have :

Salary is $120,000 to $160,000 dependent on qualifications. Hatch offers a generous benefits package including Health Insurance - Available the first day of full-time employment, Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave, Company Paid Income Protection Benefits.
