Join a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare team as an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner (APRN) providing comprehensive care for patients with hormonal and metabolic disorders. About the Role :
You ll manage a variety of endocrine conditions ranging from diabetes and thyroid disorders to adrenal and pituitary diseases while collaborating closely with endocrinologists, dietitians, and primary care providers. This role focuses on long-term patient relationships, treatment planning, and education to help patients manage their conditions and improve quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disease, Cushing s, and adrenal insufficiency
Develop and adjust individualized treatment and medication plans
Educate patients on disease management, medications, and lifestyle changes
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Qualifications :
Master s degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current APRN license (NH preferred or eligible)
BLS certification required; active DEA certification preferred
Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) a plus
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills
