Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a leading warehousing-storage-set-up firm seeking a Director of Finance to join their team.

Are you a hands-on financial leader with a strategic mindset looking to make a significant impact in a growing company? Our client, a premier provider of warehouse storage solutions, is seeking a Director of Finance to drive financial strategy and operations.

Title : Director of Finance

Location : Santa Fe Springs, CA

Salary Range : $140,000 - $175,000 + bonus

Job Type : Full-Time / Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all finance and accounting operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with GAAP, federal, and state regulations.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting, Sales & Income Tax Reporting, and Internal Audits.
  • Develop and enforce accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Prepare and present financial reports for seven subsidiaries.
  • Lead financial planning and budget management functions, providing strategic insights to senior management.
  • Manage and report sales tax filings across 30+ states using Avalara software.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and oversee asset management.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external financial partners and coordinate external audits.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports to support business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting and financial management experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction industries.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
  • Strong managerial, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and projects under pressure.
