Job Description :

Use AutoCAD to prepare layouts of fire alarm systems, detail drawings, calculations, sketches, and diagrams, including all views and dimensions necessary for field installation. Prepare submittals and adhere to project schedules. Demonstrate understanding of design / drafting techniques, fire alarm terminology, low voltage systems, and perform necessary calculations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Design Responsibilities :

Develop shop drawings, voltage / battery calculations, and equipment lists complying with NFPA, local, and state codes, project specifications, and cost-effective installation practices.

Ability to interpret construction documents.

High school diploma or equivalent.
