Pre-Op Senior Registered Nurse

MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Senior Registered Nurse for Pre-Op Services to join a premier healthcare team near Valencia, CA!

Key Responsibilities for the Pre-Op Senior Registered Nurse :

Provide expert nursing care to patients in the pre-operative phase, ensuring a smooth and safe transition to surgery.
Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals to prepare patients for procedures.
Conduct pre-operative assessments, review patient history, and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal surgical readiness.
Educate patients and families on pre-op protocols and address questions to promote comfort and understanding.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all hospital and regulatory policies.
Mentor and support junior nursing staff in clinical practice and professional development.

Schedule :

Full-Time, Day Shifts

Monday-Friday with potential weekend or on-call hours as needed.

Pre-Op Senior Registered Nurse Qualifications :

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in pre-op, PACU, or surgical settings.

BSN preferred; ASN required.

ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Strong organizational and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
