About the Role
We are looking to add an integral component of our Field Operations team to help achieve our goals by filling the role of "Solar PV Installer". The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, be comfortable working at heights, be excellent in a team environment, have a passion for personal and professional growth within the trade, and bring a positive attitude to work every day. While prior solar installation experience is preferred, we are looking for a candidate that shares our core values first and foremost, with the desire to learn and perform the functions of PV system construction at the highest level.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Crew Lead and construction team in the successful installation of residential scale PV systems
- Support the Crew Lead and construction team in the successful removal and reinstallation of existing residential scale PV systems
- Review and comprehend plans, electrical diagrams, electrical code requirements, and manufacturer specifications to construct PV systems
- Pull and account for daily inventory
- Perform PV maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting duties as required
- Maintain full accountability of all assigned tools, vehicles, electronics, and responsibilities
- Practice OSHA and Mesh Bro safety standards under the guidance of the Crew Lead
- Provide outstanding customer service to our clients and partners, and always maintain the core values of Mesh Bro Enterprises.
- Provide timely and accurate deliverables (i.e. field reports, photos, time entries)
- Attend periodic meetings to cover safety training, best practices, standard workmanship guidelines, and new product implementation
- Interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner at all times
- Support the ongoing growth, development, and improvement of Mesh Bro Enterprises.
