Job descriptionProduce detailed structural drawings and models using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create fabrication and erection details Maintain drawing standards and document control procedures Support project delivery from concept through to construction phase Attend site visits and coordination meetings when required Minimum 2 years' experience in structural detailing within the construction industry Proficiency in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD (essential) Strong understanding of steel and concrete detailing standards Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Relevant qualification in structural or civil engineering (HNC / HND or equivalent)
Overview
Role : Design Detailer (Structural Steel) | Location : Northampton, Northamptonshire | Salary : £40,000–£55,000 (DOE) | Hours : Monday – Friday days / 42.5 hours per week | Job Type : Full time, Permanent
