Shipping and Receiving Manager

Salary : $68,000 - $75,000 / yr.

Schedule : Must be able to work hours between 7am-7pm. Will not be working 12-hour shifts.

Essential Functions :

• Lead daily operations of shipping and receiving, providing direction, motivation, and performance management for supervisors and associates.
• Oversee inventory control processes including receiving, put-away, cycle counts, reconciliations, and error investigations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage shipping activities by training staff, assigning orders, and implementing effective outbound processes to meet customer commitments.
• Drive continuous improvement through cost reduction, productivity gains, error reduction, and root cause analysis of shipping / receiving issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and corporate standards while fostering communication through regular staff meetings.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems and RF scanning equipment to maintain accurate inventory and efficient operations.
• Conduct personnel reviews, corrective actions, and ongoing staff development to build a high-performing team.
