About The Position

Join a growing Cardiovascular Surgery team in  Jackson, Michigan  as a  Locum NP  supporting a busy  CVICU  in a  Level II Trauma Center . This is a high-impact, low-call role with  flexible 12- or 24-hour shifts ,  autonomy , and  excellent support —all while earning  $165 / hr  and enjoying  complimentary travel and lodging .

📆  Dates : ASAP through  December 2025  (may extend)

⏱️  Shifts : 12-hour day / night rotation (24-hr option available)

🏥  Facility Details

Practice Setting :   Hospital-based CVICU

Daily Census : ~9 patients

EMR :   EPIC

Supervising Physician : Onsite (day), Phone (night)

Trauma Level :   Level II

Adult-only population (18+)

🛠️  Duties & Required Skills

✅ Placement of  Central Venous and Dialysis Catheters

✅  Arterial line  insertion

✅  Chest tube  placement

✅ Must be comfortable  working autonomously , especially on night shifts

🎓  Requirements

Board Certified :   AANP or NCCPA  – REQUIRED

Acute Care trained & certified – REQUIRED

BLS & ACLS (AHA)  – REQUIRED

Michigan license  – Highly preferred (willing to consider those applying)

Minimum 2 years' relevant  CVICU / critical care experience  – REQUIRED
