Job descriptionPatient Volume : The physician will be expected to see a minimum of 18 patients per day, including a mix of pediatric and adult patients. For Internal Medicine physicians, adult patients only will be considered. Chronic Pain Management : Some chronic pain management is included in the scope of care. Chart Closure : All charts must be closed within 72 hours of patient encounters to ensure compliance with facility standards. Board Certification : Candidates must be Board-Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Board-Eligible candidates will also be considered if within five years of residency. Required Certifications : Licensing Requirements : Candidates must hold an active California medical license. There will be no reimbursement for licensing costs. DEA License : An active DEA license is required before the start of the assignment. Patient Load : 18 patients per day, minimum. Decision Timeline : Typically, a hiring decision is made within 7-14 days after the review of candidate credentials. Employment Gaps : Candidate CVs must account for all gaps in employment, with both month and year provided for each position listed.
