Store Managers are responsible for ensuring that the highest level of customer service is being applied. Store Managers model AbleLight's mission, vision and values while effectively problem-solving, making informed decisions, managing the workforce and achieving maximum results.

Requirements :

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Minimum of 2 years retail management experience, including 1 year of leadership experience.
• Must be proficient with MS Office Software.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record as defined by AbleLight.
• Ability to oversee all the employees and volunteers effectively prioritizing multiple projects.
• Effective use of people management, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Leading the team vs immersing into the day-to-day workload losing sight of big picture.
• Ability to assist the team in setting meaningful goals and identifying specific behaviors / steps for meeting them.
• Ability to hold the team accountable around meeting performance goals.
• Ability to work irregular hours as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Lift a minimum of 40 pounds on a repeated basis.
• Stand for up to 8 hours at a time.
• Assemble and move racks and shelves for extended periods of time.
• Carry items up and down stairs as needed.
