Job Description :

Under the direction of the Manager, the position using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for electrical systems and components, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key duties include translating engineers' designs into detailed plans, calculating material needs, and creating wiring and layout diagrams for installation, repair, and manufacturing.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and architects.

Key responsibilities :

Create technical drawings : Prepare wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and schematics for electrical equipment, power plants, and buildings using CAD software like AutoCAD.

Translate engineering designs : Convert rough sketches and initial design ideas from engineers into coherent, detailed technical drafts.

Specify details : Include dimensions, materials, and procedures in the drawings.

Collaborate with teams : Work with engineers, architects, and project managers to meet project requirements and resolve design issues.

Ensure accuracy : Verify that all calculations, measurements, and units are correct and that the final drafts are easy to read and follow.

Document and organize : Assemble documentation packages and produce complete drawing sets for review and approval.

Essential skills and qualifications :

Technical proficiency : Strong drafting skills and extensive knowledge of CAD software.

Attention to detail : Meticulousness to ensure the accuracy of complex technical plans.

Mathematical and technical knowledge : Solid understanding of electrical engineering technology and mathematics.

Teamwork : Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative environment.

Problem-solving : Capability to work with others to resolve design or operational problems.

Competence in Microsoft and other office application software

Demonstrated organizational and communication skills

Ability to create / modify models and drawings based on daily expectations while maintaining quality of work.

Strong ability to work in a team environment, collaborate with colleagues and share workload as needed to provide quality customer support

Attention to detail

Organize priorities to meet customer deadlines

Support 24hr / 7day a week global operation Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria : Competence with SolidWorks applications

High school diploma required

Requirements / Qualifications :

Associate degree in a technical field

AutoCAD experience

AutoCAD Electrical experience
