Aviation Company located in Fort Collins is looking for Quality Inspector Level II

1st shift ( Monday - Friday ) 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm

Position Summary :

The Quality Inspector II inspects aerospace and manufacturing components to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality procedures. This role requires attention to detail, technical knowledge, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Inspect and validate parts using CMMs and other equipment.
  • Create AS9102 forms and inspection reports.
  • Maintain calibration of tooling and equipment.
  • Record job hours and adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
  • Identify process improvements and assist in other areas as needed.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year in aerospace quality or related manufacturing.
  • Basic blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • 2+ years in Quality Control / Assurance.
  • CMM / PCMM operation (PC-DMIS CAD++).
  • Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 standards.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, sit, stand, and perform basic physical tasks.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes).

  • Examine maintenance records and flight logs to determine if service and maintenance checks and overhauls were performed at prescribed intervals.
