Who We’re Looking For :
The OnBase Administrator / Developer is responsible for the full lifecycle of Electronic Content Management (ECM) solutions—planning, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining OnBase-based systems. This position ensures optimal system performance through advanced OnBase administration and routine operational support.
Hosted on Hyland’s Cloud, the OnBase platform supports critical business processes for the Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) and its stakeholders. Working under the guidance of the Dev, Data, and Middleware Section Supervisor, this role plays a key part in delivering secure, reliable ECM solutions aligned with ETF’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, and maintain OnBase solutions and workflows in line with agency standards and best practices.
Administer and support the OnBase system, including upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with product owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), technical owners, and fellow administrators to deliver high-quality ECM solutions.
Provide technical support to internal users, external partners, employers, and ETF members.
Perform system analysis and contribute to the planning and execution of complex ECM projects.
Develop document types, keywords, queries, reports, Unity Forms, Dashboards, and import processes.
Write custom SQL Server queries and support integration with external systems.
Participate in Agile development processes and team coordination.
Contribute to internal documentation and user training as needed.
Follow all ETF safety guidelines and participate in safety training.
Required Qualifications
OnBase Certified System Administrator – Minimum 4 years of experience
OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator or Workflow Engineer – Minimum 4 years of experience
OnBase WorkView and API Certifications – Minimum 3 years of experience
Experience in :
Developing and maintaining document types, workflows, reports, and import processes
Dashboard and Unity Forms development (min. 3 years)
Performing system upgrades and health checks
C# and / or Visual Basic programming
Writing custom SQL Server queries
Troubleshooting and debugging OnBase issues
Strong knowledge of ECM principles, best practices, and Hyland OnBase architecture
Effective communication and documentation skills
Experience in an Agile environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams
Experience training or mentoring users or colleagues
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of emerging ECM and document management technologies
Experience in proposing and implementing IT standards, procedures, and best practices
Familiarity with Hyland Cloud-hosted OnBase environments

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $40 and $50. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
