American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a WI or compact license and EPIC experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Night shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • May be required to float onsite within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles as needed
  • Patient population consists of patients presenting to the emergency room with a variety of acute conditions
  • Uses EPIC EMR, with previous experience required
  • Every other weekend or as needed based on department requirements
  • Rotates holidays with regular staff
  • Must be willing to float to nearby facilities within 40 miles as needed according to skill set
  • Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
  • All vaccinations, including COVID-19, are not required as of July 1, 2023
  • Local candidates are accepted but must comply with radius rules, with local rates applied per facility policy
  • Two separate references are required for consideration
  • Compliance with team-based care and ability to support high-acuity emergency patients

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA required
  • Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
  • Experience with EPIC charting required
  • All candidates must have a US Social Security Number and a valid US address
  • Copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
