The Operations Manager is responsible for creating high levels of client satisfaction by exceeding their expectations and fulfilling the company's contractual obligations through the timely and profitable delivery of their services. The Operations Manager will exceed established standards of performance through continuous process improvement, training, and development of employees. They are seeking a candidate with exceptional leadership skills, to maintain a positive attitude and remain flexible and open-minded as the company continues to grow.
Operations Manager Responsibilities :
Manage employees, implement procedures, hold key personnel accountable.Schedule and coordinate the activities of installersPerform job site visits to check for quality and to maintain customer relationshipsAttend homeowner service calls for escalated concerns.Responsible for helping to achieve company goals.Manage inventory and ensure products are adequately stockedRespond to property damage emergency calls when required.Plan, organize and manage crews and subcontractors.Establish and maintain client relationships.Attend or run appropriate company meetings.Handle all inquiries for the team and demonstrate a high level of problem-solving resolution and technical assistance.Communicate with upper management about any issues or improvements that need to be madeResponsible for recruiting, mentoring, coaching, and developing employees, recognizing strengths and weaknesses, and developing their skills and abilities.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsOperations Manager Requirements :
5+ years of management experience within the construction industry3 + years of experience within the flooring industryProven ability to build, motivate and maintain a high performing teamProficiency with the Microsoft® Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and internet and software SystemsAbility to read blueprints and perform takeoffsOrganizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks / projectsSelf-motivated, responsible, and accountable. Identifies own learning needs and seeks appropriate steps to continue continual self-developmentBilingualBA / BS required or equivalent experienceKeywords : management, construction, leadership, flooring
