Field Service Engineer

Job Description

A growing manufacturing group is adding a traveling Field Service Engineer to support three local production plants. This newly created role offers variety, stability, and the chance to work hands-on with advanced controls and automation systems. This role is 60% travel between plants with emergency work being done on Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC and control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and other control technology brands).
• Work with pneumatics, hydraulics, drives, servo motors, shafts, couplings, and robotics.
• Perform electrical work up to 480V safely and efficiently.
• Handle scheduled maintenance and respond to emergency service needs as they arise.
• Travel locally between facilities to support ongoing production operations.
• Assist with controls upgrades and improvements-PLC programming experience is a strong plus.
