OPEN POSITION :

Position : Nurse Practitioner

Department : Neurology

Location : Cass City, MI

Hours : Full-Time. Full Benefits.

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join our well-established Neurology Clinic. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients and support our Medical Staff in delivering high quality healthcare services. You will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders, including Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, and other neurological conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Master’s degree in nursing required with formal Nurse Practitioner Certification; Licensed in the State of Michigan.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience preferred.
  • Active listener; effective communicator; knowledge of group dynamics; ability to be both a team member and a team builder; ability to energize and focus a group to work together to achieve goals and objectives. Must be analytic and have problem-solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES : Performs evidence -based medical care by planning, directing, and evaluating patient medical needs, work alongside the Physician to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including Medication Management and Non-Pharmacologic interventions, examines and treats chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed, provides referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary, conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide education and support, provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications, perform comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions, maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans, collaborate with Physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach.
