Senior Estimator (Katy)

Estimator Senior Level

Selectek is searching for an Estimator Senior Level with a background in upstream equipment which includes pressure vessels, piping, tanks, separators, heaters, and water filtration systems in Houston, TX.

Required :

• Familiar with fabrication, welding, assembly and labor costing
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for manufacturing quotes
• Research and analyze historical data, market trends, and industry standards to ensure accurate cost estimates
• Assist with preparing comprehensive bid proposals
• Strong knowledge of estimating principals
• Ability to read P&ID, PFD, and engineering drawings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
• Working knowledge of estimating software (Sage Estimating, Proest, Planswift, Bluebeam, MS Project or similar)
• Minimum of 7 years' progressive estimating experience in water filtration systems, oilfield surface product manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial construction environments, with a proven track record of successful project bids
