Quality Technician – PCBA Inspection (Weekend Shift)

Summary

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Quality Technician PCBA Inspection to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor the Quality Technician PCBA Inspection will work with a multidisciplinary team to visually inspect test and build Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) with IPC / WHMA-A-610 certification.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee detailed procedures to build complex PCBAs
• Test continuity of circuit board circuits and avionics systems
• Use magnification aids and stereomicroscopes inspect populated printed circuit boards identify component misplacement and solder defects to IPC-A-610 standards and review PCBA X-Rays for solder joint analysis
• Perform receiving inspections final inspection troubleshooting and repairing printed circuit boards & Avionics systems
• Perform rework on high-density SMD PCBAs
• Perform quality-assurance receiving inspection on incoming PCBAs
• Identify defects such as shorts excess or missing solder BGA ball void analysis surface scratches cracks DNP and placement of components
• Perform miscellaneous lab duties including kitting inventory cleaning and other organization tasks

Physical Demands
