Job Summary / Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a leading aviation manufacturer seeking a Quality Inspector for a second shift role. Responsibilities :

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Execute technical inspections in the production process of the aircraft in the context of the authorization of manufacturer operation
  • Prepare and perform visual, incoming, first article, final inspections during aircraft manufacture for compliance with design specifications, customers and certification requirements.
  • Document the technical inspections performed in the multiple production orders SAP-based and the relevant SAL-based IT systems by inspection marks and complete other aircraft documents as well as prepare first article inspection reports.
  • Support troubleshooting, Functional Test Procedures(FTPs) and participate in Quality Survey requests.
  • Compile all technical data of non-conformance in order to launch the NCMS-based quality discrepancy sheets for the professional assessment in accordance with the manufacturing engineering documentation.
  • Document all the results of the technical inspector in the FLEXNET / NCMS / SAP based IT system.
  • Attain skills to perform audits of Non-Conformance Rework Orders as part of the Material Review Board (MRB).
  • Perform audits / reviews of workbooks to validate PV approval and process adherence.
  • Track and maintain components during the Non Conformance process.

Qualifications / Background Profile :

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in an aviation company with an emphasis on mechanical and / or structural components and assemblies.

Familiarization with Quality Management Systems, drawing systems, inspection plans, and the handling of inspection tools and measuring techniques is also a must.

An A&P license is desirable but NOT required for this role.
