Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of neuro and vascular IR experience and current ARRT-R, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in an interventional radiology unit in a hospital setting
  • Day shifts, 4x10 hours, from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • Schedule includes required weekend and holiday shifts, as well as on-call responsibilities
  • Expected to float within the specialty as needed
  • On-call approximately 5 shifts per 8-week schedule, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
  • May encounter a mix of neuro and vascular interventional radiology cases
  • First-time travelers will be considered if they demonstrate a strong skill set
  • All candidates must be comfortable floating within scope of practice with no restrictions
  • Local candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Return travelers must have been away from the system for at least 6 months
  • Former staff must have been gone for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
  • Holiday coverage is required as scheduled by the unit
  • Required to complete non-billable modules as part of onboarding
  • May be required to obtain CPI certification as part of compliance
  • RTO must be declared at time of initial consideration and cannot be altered after offer
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent neuro and / or vascular interventional radiology experience required
  • Current MD state or Compact license required for consideration; license required if applicable
  • ARRT-R certification required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
  • Willingness and ability to float within the specialty
  • Two professional references from recent employers required
