Salary Range : $68,640.00 - $70,699.20
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, ensuring compliance with company policy and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess and identify patients' conditions.
- Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to the care provided.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer medications as prescribed, both over-the-counter and prescription.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduation from a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).Current New York State Registered Nurse license.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.Knowledgeable in quality concepts and principles, with the ability to apply problem-solving techniques to improve patient care quality.Thank you for considering a career with Albany Medical Center, where your contributions will help shape the healthcare environment.
