Regional LIHTC Manager

This is a newly created hybrid position that will oversee all of our tax credit properties and property managers, located in Monroe, Adrian, Grand Rapids, Muskegon and Spring Lake. Plan to have an intermittent on-site presence at these properties, knowing this full time role will require across-state travel.

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Regional Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Manager to lead compliance, operations, and performance across our portfolio of affordable housing communities. In this high-impact role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring LIHTC program integrity, supporting site teams, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver housing stability to those who need it most. You'll lead with purpose, navigate complex regulations with confidence, and help shape the future of affordable housing.

The Regional LIHTC Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of all Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties and property managers. This leadership role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and staff development, coordinating administrative functions, training staff on current policies and procedures, and representing Samaritas in industry and community engagements.
