Youth Services Worker (Residential) (Hiring Immediately)

Position Summary

The Youth Services Worker I / II provides direct care and support services to children and adolescents in Anthony's Villa Group Home. They assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, maintain a therapeutic environment, and provide supervision and guidance to clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

• Provide direct care to clients, including but not limited to : supervising daily activities, ensuring safety and security, and assisting with personal hygiene and self-care tasks.
• Participate in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients, including documenting progress, and communicating with treatment team members.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment in the Group Home by utilizing positive behavior management techniques, providing consistent and clear expectations, and promoting a sense of community among clients.
• Provide transportation for clients to appointments and activities as needed.
• Participate in and lead therapeutic groups and recreational activities for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Program Director.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to travel to various locations in the community. Work is primarily performed in an office setting, with frequent travel to client homes and community locations. May be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Compensation details : 15-20 Yearly Salary
