Job Title : Low Voltage Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low voltage systems, including phone, fire alarm, camera, and card access systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage electrical systems.
• Work with Alcatel-Lucent Phone Systems and other phone systems.
• Perform data cable pulling, including cat5, cat6, and fiber optic cables.
• Read and interpret blueprints for installation purposes.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for low voltage installations.

Work Environment

The role involves working shifts from 8 am to 4 / 5 pm, primarily traveling around the Traverse City area and Northern Michigan areas, with potential trips to Grand Rapids if additional support is required. The position involves a hands-on work environment with the use of various tools and equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Williamsburg, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 / hr.
