Radiology Tech. - New Grads Welcome!

Position Title : Radiology Technologist - Salem, VA

Schedule : Full-time

• Days / Evening / Nights
• 8 -10 / hr. shifts (40-hour week)
• Will work every other weekend or / one weekend a month - flexible on shifts they can offer
• On call - Required

Job Summary :

You would provide information to diagnose patient illnesses, by operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs. Prior to each exam, you would prepare the patient for radiological procedure through proper positioning and image technique, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.

ON CALL SCHEDULE

8 - 8hr shifts of call per month (DEPENDING ON STAFFING NEEDS)

Call is used for emergencies, call outs, gaps in schedule and department workload.

Education :

Associate's degree or equivalent; Military Radiologic Technologist training.

License / Certification :
