SUMMARY

The Production Assistant supports the production, processing, shipping, maintenance and testing departments within the facility. Maintains organization and files. Assists leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scrap Billing work in profit to generate invoices.
• Maintenance department paperwork, work orders for emergency breakdowns and planned maintenance.
• Orders purchased goods.
• Enters plant near misses.
• Plant functions and employee appreciation events.
• Place orders for stock parts.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Organize and maintain housekeeping for maintenance inventory.
• Enters production information into the system.
• Coil certifications.
• Inventory support scans coils for inventory.
• Compiles various reports for receivers, prints stickers, checks production reports.
• General support tasks.
• Serves as general liaison between departments.
