Nuclear Medicine Technologist II - Main Hospital, Full time, days / weekends

Find your calling at Mercy! Directly reports to the Imaging Services Nuclear Medicine manager and Medical Director(s) of the Department of Nuclear Medicine. Responsible for assessing patients condition, evaluating exam appropriateness and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients. Additional responsibilities include analyzing computer acquired data, archiving images to PACS, performing quality control for all equipment, and adhering to radiation safety standards. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum. Overview : Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements. Participates in CQI activities.
