Job description

Overview

MMR Constructors, Inc. is accepting resumes for site QC Inspectors with strong Electrical Quality experience and industrial construction experience. Data center experience is a plus.

  • Location : New Albany, OH
  • Duration : 8 months to 1 year
  • Schedule : six-10s
  • Pay and Per Diem : $38 / hr, $625 weekly per diem
  • Type of Site : Data Center

Responsibilities

  • Administration of the Quality Management System (QMS) outlined in the MMR PQP
  • Recognize quality problems and provide practical solutions
  • Perform periodic project jobsite audits as required
  • Review drawings, specifications, approved RFIs and submittals for quality requirements
  • Conduct and record all quality inspection and testing activities on the appropriate Inspection and Test Reports
  • Coordinate ITP audit, hold, monitor, and witness points with client, owner, engineer, etc. prior to inspection and / or testing activities
  • Perform periodic project jobsite audits and surveillance as required
  • Gather records for quality Turnover Package submission
  • Attend required and refresher training related to company, vendor, and regulatory compliance
  • Attend safety training as directed
  • Comply with all safety and company rules and regulations
  • Manage and oversee QC Inspectors

    • Qualifications / Experience / Skills

  • 8–10 years of experience in Electrical Quality Control or a similar role in industrial and heavy construction
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility and creativity in approach
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Regular and reliable attendance
