Position : RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment.
Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs during labor and delivery.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital policies.
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Stay updated with the latest labor and delivery practices and technologies.
Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
Utilize hospital resources efficiently to achieve patient care goals.
Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and outcomes.
Experience / Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
Current RN license in the state of Texas.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide emotional support to patients and families.
Proficiency in electronic medical records management.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of the latest labor and delivery practices and technologies.
Experience with quality improvement processes in a healthcare setting.
