Location : Fairmount Homes, Ephrata, PA

We are seeking a Director of Nursing Services (DON) to provide leadership, oversight, and vision for our healthcare team. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care, promoting resident dignity, and supporting a culture of teamwork and excellence.

What You’ll Do

Lead, organize, and oversee all nursing activities within our healthcare facility

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards of care

Guide and mentor nursing staff to foster teamwork, growth, and excellence

Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care

Oversee staffing, budget planning, and policy development

Support a culture that honors residents’ rights, dignity, and holistic well-being

Qualifications

Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in long-term care

Experience and / or education in gerontology strongly preferred

Current CPR certification

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Compassion for serving older adults and commitment to Fairmount’s mission and values
