Experienced automotive technician / mechanic wanted.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Diagnosis :

Examine vehicles to identify issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, steering, and suspension.

• Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment and follow checklists to pinpoint problems.

Maintenance & Repairs :

Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.

Communication :

Clearly explain vehicle issues and recommended repairs to service advisors and customers.

Quality Assurance :

Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are complete and to check for further issues.

Shop Management :

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

Technical Aptitude :

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, knowledge of vehicle systems, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Customer Service :

Excellent communication skills to explain complex issues to customers and maintain a positive attitude.

Physical Dexterity :

Requires hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for working in various postures and potentially confined spaces.

Computer Skills :

Ability to use diagnostic equipment, tablets, laptops, and vehicle management software.

Problem-Solving :

Ability to interpret information from technical manuals, charts, and experience to solve complex problems
