Job descriptionDates of Coverage : TBD Friday 7am through Monday 7am every other weekend Call Ratio : 1 : 4 currenlty Total Number of Beds : L&D / Post Partum / Triage 34 Beds Hopsital 205 Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day : Varies Number of Physicians in Practice : Four How Many APPs Provide Coverage : 1 per 12 hour shift Onsite Lab & Ultrasound : Yes Describe Support Staff : L&D Nurses and Midwives What Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy : 60% What Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy : 40% What Percentage of Practice is GYN : 60% Average Number of GYN Surgeries Per Day : Five What Percentage of Patients are C-Section : One Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day : Four Nursery Level (I, II, III) : Level II Documentation System / EMR : EPIC Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.), High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.), FHR Interpretation – NST / CST / FSE, OB ultrasounds – Performance of Interpretation, OB ultrasounds – Performance of Level I / Screening (Viability) Routine Delivery –Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery –C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc, VBAC’s, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations Surgical Gynecology – Open, Laparoscopic Diagnostic / Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA’s, Chromal Tubation, Operative / Major (Includes Diagnostic) – Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA’s Board Certified - REQUIRED OH license (willing to accept providers needing to obtain State License) - REQUIRED BLS & ACLS - REQUIRED Active DEA - REQUIRED Access professional development resources and educational programs offered by different facilities, staying updated with the latest medical practices and guidelines. Assume leadership roles or managerial responsibilities in interim positions or short-term assignments, honing your leadership skills and management expertise.
