Pay Rate : $130,000 - $216,000 / year (based on experience and clearance level)
Position Description
We're seeking a SailPoint IdentityIQ Implementation Lead to drive the delivery, support, and enhancement of SailPoint IIQ solutions for a high-impact federal program. This is a mission-critical leadership role that blends project management, technical oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
You'll manage end-to-end SailPoint implementations, coordinate across functional teams, and mentor IAM engineers-while also promoting innovation in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA). The ideal candidate brings deep experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ, federal security environments, and identity lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SailPoint IIQ implementation projects from planning through deployment and support
- Oversee Tier 2 customer support, system enhancements, and maintenance for IAM platforms
- Collaborate with analysts, project managers, and clients to define technical requirements
- Guide IAM engineering teams, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices
- Develop and execute roadmaps for identity governance and access control enforcement
- Create and maintain SOPs, architecture diagrams, and implementation documentation
- Manage program risks, promote agile delivery, and ensure alignment with federal compliance standards
- Lead process optimization and automation strategies to improve IAM performance
- Interface with client stakeholders and internal executives to communicate project status and vision
Required Skills / Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline7+ years in Identity & Access Management, with at least 3 years leading SailPoint IIQ implementationsStrong understanding of identity lifecycle, provisioning, RBAC, and policy enforcementProficient in Java, BeanShell, XML, SQL, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)Experience managing large-scale IAM programs for federal agencies or regulated enterprisesExcellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skillsU.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Top Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications
SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer or ArchitectPMP or Agile / Scrum certificationFamiliarity with other IAM platforms such as Okta, CyberArk, or PingExperience with cloud IAM in Azure or AWS environmentsStrong understanding of federal security requirements and audit frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53)Compensation
Annual salary range : $130,000 - $216,000
Final offer will be based on experience, certifications, clearance level, and overall fit for the role.
