Job descriptionPerform physical examinations on pediatric patients with orthopedic conditions Diagnose and manage a range of pediatric orthopedic cases Interpret imaging studies such as X-rays and MRIs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Administer injections and perform orthopedic procedures, including wound care and cast care Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and rehabilitation plans Minimum 2 years of pediatric orthopedic experience required Must hold current PA license Certifications required : Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Whether you need long term coverage for your practice, short term vacation coverage, or anything in between – you can trust Barton Associates to provide the flexible staffing solutions your organization needs to thrive. About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Orthopedic Physician Assistant for a 32-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Jan 21, 2026. This role offers a Monday through Friday daytime schedule, with four 10-hour shifts per week and no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities. The assignment focuses on providing specialized orthopedic care to pediatric patients in a collaborative clinical setting.
