Job Opening : Journeyman Electrician – Solar Project

Location : Union City, PA

Start Date : October 20, 2025

Pay Rate : $69.81 / hour

Per Diem : $120 / day (for days worked)

⏱ Hours : 52 hours / week

Project Overview :

Join a dedicated team at a new solar farm in Union City, PA – a ground-up, outdoor installation project. We’re looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician  with solar experience to work through the full duration of this project.

Key Responsibilities :

Bending and installing electrical conduit (PVC, EMT, etc.)

Wiring panels and performing terminations

Installing fixtures and underground electrical systems

Working with both low and high voltage systems

Using hand tools, power tools, and voltmeters

Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics

Troubleshooting and ensuring system compliance with safety and electrical codes

Preferred Qualifications :

7+ years of experience as a qualified solar electrician

Proven ability to bend pipe, pull wire, and perform grid interconnections

Familiarity with battery storage systems (a plus)

Competence in using testing equipment and interpreting schematics

Forklift and trenching equipment experience preferred

Candidates living within 1 hour of Union City, PA are strongly encouraged to apply
