POSITION SUMMARY :

The Director of Admissions oversees the entire admissions process for Nexus Health Systems, ensuring that prospective patients and their families experience a professional, efficient, and compassionate entry into care. The Director supervises the Admissions team - including Clinical Reviewers and Admissions Coordinators - while coordinating closely with program leaders, referral partners, and payers. This role requires expertise in admissions workflow, prior authorization processes, payer relations, and data oversight, combined with strong leadership skills and strategic vision.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

Leadership & Supervision

• Manage and mentor a team of Admissions staff, including Clinical Reviewers and Admissions Coordinators.
• Establish performance standards, conduct evaluations, and support staff professional development.
