Fairview is looking for a Nursing Station Technician at the M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN! This position is 48 hours every two weeks on the Night shift, for 12 hour shifts, and every third weekend, and is eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, and more.

About this Unit :

The Birthplace at Lakes Medical Center averages about 525 deliveries annually, and has 6 labor beds, and 9 post-partum rooms. The NST role in this department would be dedicated to learning the direct patient care and Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities for this unit.
Job Responsibilities
The Nursing Station Technician position is responsible for assisting with patient care, performing receptionist duties on the station, and maintaining patient care areas. The NST assists in the transfer / positioning and mobility of patients, including assisting with ADLs and general patient care.
Additionally, the NST would be expected to :
facilitate room turnover
audit and maintain unit supplies
coordinate activities of nursing station to support patient care staff
manage medical record flow and patient care charts
provide outstanding customer service
perform other tasks as needed
